Meet Laura
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Laura Franklin is a practicing family nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of experience, with the past decade of her professional career spent on the Southern Oregon coast.
Laura started out in family practice and branched out to specialize in pain management. She also has a passion for hospice and palliative care.
“Family practice gives you the best of all worlds,” Laura says. “You’re able to develop relationships with your patients and their families to provide the best possible outcome.”
Laura truly believes that education is a key component in helping patients understand their health and to improve their healthcare outcomes.
An extensive world traveler, Laura brings a strong sense of culturally competent care to her practice, which she hopes to continue for years to come.
She is married and lives with her husband in Langlois, where they have built a beautiful home that they both enjoy working on together. Laura also loves to cook and entertain in her spare time. They share their home with their pets, which include four dogs, eight cats, 17 ducks and 27 chickens.
